Static shelving allows to maximise the storage of books, journals, ledgers and registers.

Shelving can be designed to store the items in accordance with the requirements of BS 5454:2000.

Our shelving allows shelves to be fitted close together so as to enable journals or ledgers to be stored on their sides and thus not damaging their splines or backs.

This also creates a highly visible aspect to the collection and enhances its appear by opening the collection up. This affect can be created by one bay or many.

Our range of cabinets with glass panel doors or viewing panels, allow the artefacts to be viewed without the need to open the doors. The dust sealing strips around each of the doors ensures minimum air flow, whislt the combination of full width or half width shelves, trays and drawers ensures total flexability.

The cabinets can also be mounted onto a pallet base so that they can be easily moved by a pump up pallet truck.

Simple and effective storage of up to 70 archive boxes per bay. We can either supply the rack or the rack and the boxes, as well as installing.

Our range of plan chests come is a wide selection of sizes from the popular AO and A1 sizes to those made to store specific drawings or plans and are therefore made to a specific size. The number of drawers per cabinet also can be changed; our standard is 5 or 10; however we can manufacture to any requirements.

So as to ease removal we also supply drop down fronted drawers that minimise any damage. All our cabinets are supplied with a secure lock and anti tilt devices.
